Can it be possible to connect two computers, one with full configuration and other with a motherboard and a processor?

it is possible to do so but the "other" must have ram and smps also. now use any free clustering software like moziac or oscar etc to make a powerfull machine.

Probably he's talking about networking.
By connection two computers together through a network you can use both their processing powers like 3DSMAX 5's backburner uses...

no it is not about networking but clustering where two or more processing entites act as one they do dynamic task shifting based on the cpu load at each processing node. this way complex and heavy tasks can be handled with relativly simple machines.

u mean something like beowulf clusters? check this site http://dune.mcs.kent.edu/~farrell/equip/beowolf/ and http://dune.mcs.kent.edu/~farrell/equip/beowolf/beowulf-faq.txt

Roger, you have hit the nail on the head. Beowolf is one of the many open source cluster software (and which are simpler to setup). Such a setup can out perform a new p4 AMD top of the range machine in terms of shear computing power and throughput.
