Hi Guys..
I would like to boost the signal recd from the cable operator. This signal has noise which shows up on the TV through my Set Top Box. The Cable Operator says that this is because of internal wiring in my apartment and he cannot do anytning about it. I have to get the external wiring done.
I would appreciate someone experienced in this field to comment on this issue.

its exactly what ur cable waala said
nuthin else can be done abt it
u cant boost a noisy signal .. that will just boost the noise as well
if ur wires at fault ... u can do very lil .... that is change the internal wiring .. or as ur cable waala said .. get external wiring done

Hi..thanks for your reply. I think this noise is coming when the second TV is switched on. It is perhaps the lack of signal strength. So, what I need to do is boost the strength of the incoming signal at the entry point..

Is there any kind of small/cheap gadget(booster) available in the market ?
