Dude,gxgaurav! ... What?!?!?!
for playing NFS UG (need For Speed UnderGround) you need @least pixel shader 1.1 and NOT 1.4,
that means crowds and headlight and motion blur will be activated only if you have GeForce3 Ti or GeForce4 Ti. (GeForce 4 MX dont have any shaders Be careful!!) or GeForce FX, and any ATI radeon 9xxxx series except ATI Radeon 9200 (I think..not too sure on Radeon Series)

whats ur point ??
basically he needs a new card and thats what gxsaurav advised him
what diff does it make if its 1.1 or 1.4 ?
u could have just politely made a correction ...
relax a bit man .. we are all here to help/learn and make mistakes ;)

saurav, i run nfs ug with all eye candy turned on my geforce 3 ti 500 card.....
and the minimum graphics card requirement is a geforce 2 or greater or a radeon 7500 or greater...

You will need Pixel Shader 1.1 atleast.

For current Generation Games you need GeForce FX. entry level would be FX 5200. MX cards don't have the PS 1.1 feature.
