virtua dub
If you use a software like Adobe Premiere (Trial);
Here are the steps.
1. Open a New Project ( Select PAL for Windows )
2. Make sure that the Project Settings are the Same as ur DivX files so that u will spend less time rendering them.
3.Select Bin.> RightClick> Import> 'Your DivX Movie'
4.Drag it to the time line.
5.Use the Razor Tool from the Tool Box to cut the movie on the Time line where ever you want.
6. Now make the workspace and fit it to the first block that you have cut.
7. Now go to Files and select export the workspace
8. Select your export settings.. Your compression etc..
9. Save your new DivX file (if u r using DivX compression)..this time.
(please not - some terms I have used may not be the exact as in software cos I am not on a comp with this software.-- but I hav helped u).
You can d load the trial version of Adobe Premiere at:
Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 tryout software for Windows
Adobe Premiere® Pro 1.5 software delivers real-time editing tools for professional video production
http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/download.jsp?ftpID=2558
The file is a lovely 168.9MB in size. If you like it you can even buy the full software for a good $699 ( INR 33000 )..
Enjoy

Hi :)
Virtual dub is enough.
(You may need to set the processing type to direct stream copy instead of full processing).
Thanks
