Hi,

In an online store(www.npithub.com) I found a ATI Radeon 7000 64MB dual CRT PCI-VGA card which is on offer for Rs. 2100. I need this for my old computer which does not have an AGP slot. My old computer's configuration is pII 233MHz, 128MB RAM, 14'' CRT monitor, 6215c vga card. My question is should I go ahead and buy this graphics card? Is this graphics card worth its price? Is there a better graphics card for the same price?

The Radeon 7000 will give u the performance about equivalent to a geforce 2 ... the price is certainly high..in this range u can get a geforce 4 mx agp, I m not very sure abt prices of other PCI gfx cards tho! sorry for that!

Thanks for the reply Ringwraith. But what I searched from on the Internet, I came to know that the PCI VGA ones are certainly highly priced than that of AGP ones. Also the card support dual CRT monitor. Yes surely the card appears costly but there are no alternative.

Is there any other card that is available which is better that the Radeon 7000 at around Rs. 2000? Please tell me quickly because if I dont get any thing I am going ahead and buying this card.

Grab it while you can. PCI cards are almost extinct and very hard to find.
