nothing like the physics of quake ..
shooting rockets in air ..
moving in jumps .. jump pads, etc
in all .. a whole better gaming experience ..dont you think?

Well for me Unreal Tournament quenches the thirst for unadulterated fun and pure excitement :wink: I would definately go in for a UT match and can chant my favourite dialogue "Die b!tch" and SUCKER !! :wink:

Well never tried Quake Matches b4......it makes me feel unconfortable... :wink:

I have more fun with Quake 3. We have the game installed on our college LAN's and it's the reason why bunking classes and sneaking of to the comp lab for a long session of fragfests and CTF's is so much tempting!

Wow! Did your college go all out to buy multiple licenses for Quake 3 so students could have fragfests whilst bunking classes??? :roll: :roll:

But Quake 4 wont rock as much as Quake 3 becoz of its story mode n continuation of Quake 2.

So quake3 Quake3 N QUAKE3.
This game will never die.

Quake 4 will have a strong multiplayer component if id are to be believed.

Between, UT and Quake 3, it's a tough choice, but I'll go with Quake 3 because I have spent more time playing it then I have spent on UT :D

UT is great fun too, but Quake 3 has that classic but simple Run and Gun gameply which I prefer ;)

Quake 3 released in 1999 n UT2004 in 2004 n how can u expect the Quake3 to be better than 2004UT.
But still Quake 3 give a good fight to UT.

Quake III Has extremly fast, In-Your-Face Gamplay... but UT series Gameplay though intense is little slow

The gaming sequel in Quake is far better than UT, thats why I gave a 51:49 ratio.

UT is awesome but lacks the sequel compared to Quake.

Both of the games are for nuts who consider blasting Aliens as something challenging. The word in the streets is that the games r for KIDs under 18. Serious people play serious games. Anyway the option for anyone would be to do for UT as the butchering methods and the gore is good.
Quake3 is for nweets.

Exactly UT is comparatively very slow when u talk abt the gamplay. :)

U dont feel bored and have to be always on the move in Quake. :D

The XBox Version of Quake III is also a good one. Different maps. Its fun while playing a two player game. It has a different feel.

Quake III is one of the most simple games with very less system requirements (to run).

On the other, (as far as i know), UT requires a good machine with a good configuration to run.

Quake III take very less time to start compared to UT.

These are some of the Quake III advantages.

Real simple ..... Although I like Quake a lot, it just cannot match up with UT in terms of its playability, weapon arsenal, level deisgn and most importantly, the mutators :) I mean what weapon can beat the Flak Cannon? Prolly the best game weapon ever. Also, the real BIG gun actually feels like a BIG gun (The Redeemer for the uninitiated) in UT, unlike the BFG10k in Quake III, which is more like an enhanced plasma rifle. The only thing that Quake really has going for it is the game speed, which I admit is pretty fast and pretty damned furious. That, and the announcer. The "Impressive" actually sounds impressive. That or maybe I'm just too bored of hearing "Holy ****" ;)

Q3 is definitely NOT outdated ...... I still like playing a game of Q3 occaisonally, but it is no longer king of the hill as far as FPS's are concerned :)

Although realesing on the XBOX 360.The graphics are amazing as it uses the Doom 3 engine.oh but then it is a FPS Game not a Tournament :cry:
