I will be purchasing an internal HDD but I want to know if there are cables available in India which let us connect it externally as an when we require it.

I know of these cables connect to the USB.

I want to load Linux on the HDD and keep it outside my comp.

As an when I want to work with it I connect it to the comp.

Please let me know the price and will I be able to load and use an OS successfully on it . ( VIA THE USB)

Thanks

this casing will connect your internal hdd to the computer thru the USB port. The range varies from 500 to 3000 bucks... Try getting one from your local dealer....
