age of mythology problem

hi,
i recently got "age of mythology" game... but the game is not working ... i am getting an error message - 'aom.exe - Application error'
"The application failed to initialize proper(0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate"
what do i do ? :?

Same problem with me. My system is too old that is y the game is not working.

saurya_mishra, seems ur system requirements r totally met for the game. But the error message u have mentioned normally is seen on older systems.
Which operating system do u use??? Tried on which operating system????

Did u install the original one or the pirated one.???Try to install with other os's if present in u r system.Otherwise try the same in u r friend's system.U may get some idea about what's going on.

i have windows xp and the game is original ... should i try to download a no-cd crack and see if it works ?
compatibility wizard does not work on it ... i dont know why
