How can we calculate the Frame Per Second(FPS) of a game?

which is relatively easy to use

Many of the games have an inbuilt feature to check FPS. Search in the game itself n u will get it. But not supported by all games.

generally in newer games there is a command u have to type in the console (~) window. read the game readme or quickstart guide
