yeah, Klite codec pack is good. I've been using it for quite some time now, no problems whatsoever.

well i am unable to open most of the file with k-lite codec pack(downloaded starwars-3, avi extention0
where as earlier i had used ace it used to open everything.
i uninstalled it coz it took too much of space(80 mb)
now i think it would be back to
it again.
but the best thing is u dont need all these , just install vlc player
its simply superb

@hacko
*.asf files r a container for Windows Media Format and Microsoft MPEG4 formats.........K-Lite Does have Windows Media n MS MPEG4(only for avi)F files.......well if ur file does not play its probably corrupted or is using some unknow codec

Try Windows Media ASF View 9 Series to find out which A/V codecs r used in the ASF file.........

@biplav
use G-Spot from K-Lite Codec pac on those files u cant play n tell me the results....

N i hope u dint install K-Lite over ACE oe ny other codec pack as that screws up the system
