Help Wanted: HP dv5 laptop new and dead?

I just bought a HP dv5 laptop, and I've been using it with much enjoyment for a few days now, but today it started acting odd, I was playing on it and the screen just went black and would not respond at all. Now it will not power on at all, when I press the power button it flashes the 3 lights on the front (Power, Battery, and another light CPU usage?) of the laptop but will not power on, and nothing else lights up. No noises at all, nothing. I tried using just battery power to no avail, also tried both battery and plugging it in with the same results. Brand new, I have no idea, it was getting very hot though. Anyone know anything that might help me? Not really hardware savvy at all =(...
