My my. The Kodak is a real nice camera. Thanx for that advice.

As I needed a simple point-and-shoot (for family use), I bought Sony W110, 4X Optical Zoom, 7.2 MP. Takes pretty good shots, affordableat around 8k, fairly new model, has smile-shutter which is a cool and practical feature. I thought not-to spend too much as the need was a simple point-and-shoot from a reputed company(Sony means good for Dad )

But, I will have to buy a Mega Zoom SLR(i.e having a lota manual options) kind later for my use. I will think about the Kodak or maybe a Canon 10X Zoom camera as Canon cameras can be modded with hacks.

The thread may end here as the purpose is complete.
