Other then GPU acceleration there is no point updating.

3D Coloring is good in Photoshop extended but they are forgetting that dedicated renderer like Mental Ray or Vray are much better already then what Photoshop CS4 will offer. Still, 3d Painting will be a good way to quickly show the effect of coloring.
