If you overclock, the E8500 can go 4.2 GHz at Air, but E7200 3.5-3.8 max at Air.

4GHz, let me tell you, you'll have one burnt processor unless you have a 5k liquid cooling drawing some serious power, even so 4GHz is impossible on E7200(3.8 max).

E8500 has no comparison in the C2Dual catagory(besides E8600) only some C2Quad can beat it and in gaming it blast away.

Price difference is 0.8k in my city.

E8500/(Alright)E8400 is better than E7200 anyday.
