For an advice i must say that if you can alter your budget and get a new 1gb DIMM of frrequency 800 Mhz and exchange your single 512mb(667mhz) for a single 1gb 800 Mhz(of same brand) by paying a little less for the another 1gb stick which would sum up ypurram upto 2 Gigs it would be really benificial since you will have the gain of dual channel ram with more frequency.
