I guess it is a bit heavy
. But what I find appeasing is the fact that there is another vendor in the market with Linux Laptops. Now lets look at it this way. how many companies were there with Laptops with Pre-installed Linux 5 years ago? Now there are more options.
Dell - Ubuntu (Is this available in India ?)
Acer - Linpus
Elcot - SLED
In a few more years I can see every vendor giving out Linux as an alternative
. People are getting more and more educated into other platforms than one thinks. Example students in Kerala using Linux Computers, Government Officers using Linux Boxes? Now all we need is a bit more help from some proprietary software companies or alternatives to alot of the good software out there
