Issue With Lcd Monitor
Hi all
I have been using a 17' Viewsonic LCD monitor since 6-8 months and have not faced any problems. For past month or so I have observed that when I switch on the mains, the LCD screen starts to glow even when its power-on button is in 'off' position. It glows even when the computer is in sleep mode.
However when working, the display etc is ok.
I've been told that this has something to do with crystals getting magnetized and it becomes alright on its own.. I would appreciate if someone could explain this and if this needs to be corrected by an engineer..
