Hi
I have recently installed ubuntu 7.10 on my sys my problem is that after login screen i.e after taking my password it takes abt 1 min or so to load all the icons and become active this kind of problem never happened on my ubuntu 7.04 .
My sys config is :
2.4Ghz pentium 4 , 256 Ram ,314 mb swap

also I have disabled visual effects
any solution ?
