@chitvan:can u post the "lspci" output from konsole?.It seems that ur onboard sound is different than normal hda Azalia found in Intel mobos

but still the specs shows it is Realtek ALC860 !.also hope it is a original intel mobo?
One thing is you should either have "snd-hda-intel" module available or compiled inside the kernel

Also,post the o/p of "cat /proc/asound/version", "cat /proc/asound/cards"
also, update and upgrade your alsa and necessary packages via yum.@nucleus can help u reg this.
