I have a MS6577 ver4.1 motherboard ,P4,640 MB RAM, sony dvd rw
the problem is when i boot ubuntu7 & other linux versions older then ubuntu7.04 by my cd or dvd drives to install them then after showing two lines.................computer restarts.I tought my mobo doesnot supports linux.
But when i tried the Fedora7 my computer booted into that & i got it installed.
Can anyone explain what went wrong with other linux versions & is there is a way to install Ubuntu7.04 in my mobo by some change in the install setup cd.
