Google has also filed lawsuits against Giersch in Spain, Portugal and Switzerland...But a court in Switzerland threw out Google's case...
Google tried a buy-out and even legal brow-beating, but failed to reach a settlement. the guy was using and had regd the G-Mail trademark 3 years earlier ! so the courts ruled in his favour.
A case of corporate bullying here ? But then its not Microsoft, its Google...so things will be viewed in a different perspective
