Subsistence is not MGS 2. Subsistence is actually MGS 3:Snake Eater, but with an online multiplayer support and few extra content. The single person campaign is the same is both. Konami also changed the fixed camera in Snake Eater to a moving one in Subsistence so that players can spot enemies better. Earlier fixed camera caused blind spots and off screen enemies couldn't be seen (although they could see you). The movable camera is Subsistence makes the single player campaign almost new despite it actually being the same as in Snake Eater. The online multiplayer mode was also very good add-on. Even gamers who've bought and played Snake Eater could buy Subsistence because of its new features.
