I tweak my connections all the time. On my ealier bbd which should give 256kbps, after tweaking (yes, i used these settings u gave too), I got 31-32kBps constantly. Then on my Sify 256kbps, I tried those tweaks, normally u can xpect 80% of the advertised speeds. But tweakin gave me 30+ again.
Now, on my Data1, I get bbd900 @ 30+ speeds. The difference, in Data1, I didn't need to tweak! Mayb bcause it's ADSL.
One thing, I'ld like to mention (as i mention everywhere else
), however u tweak ur internet settings, u'll never get speeds more than the speed u registered for, unless the server providin the internet to u is corrupted
What tweakin'll do is just make the 20 odd % chance of speed loss minimized.
