so dun buy a new one
the mobo will have IDE slots as well for ur hdd
ofcourse here im guessing the hard disks attatch to the xbox thru IDE as it does to the PC
so basically what im askin is are those hard disks essentially for a pc?
then they will work with ur new pc.. no problems whatsoever
SATA is a diff technology and ur motheboard will be supporting it ... but that doesnt mean u HAVE to use SATA disks
