No friend it will just make life harder! if some one run nmap they will dig out info.. oh yah do we have netcraft.com real server need not chage all this protect them at firewall, run only needed service, quality application, upgrade service (as need in your case it is done by IDC ppl) all these contribute more than banner IMPO
