I got a DVD ROM drive after looooong wait from the digit upgrade 2 dvd offer. It's wroking nicely. I can run the digit dvd without setting any region for the drive. I heard on this forum itself that the drive was region free and you can change the region unlimited no. of times. It was shown in some thread also using screen shots (I don't remember now!).

Wasn't the LiteOn DVD ROM region free? Nero recognises my drive with speed as 20X instead of 16X, No. of times user can change the region 5, for vendor 4. Right now, no region is selected, but still I can use digit dvds.

Will this drive read dual layer dvds? It was also written on the same thread.
