Americas Army is a first person shooter, based on the life of a US army soldier. Since it simulates real battlefield conditions , one has to first complete some basic and advanced training as a US soldier does and then only proceed to play on online multiplayer maps. Yes , yuo really need a good broadband connection if you intend playing the online missions. As you complete each training mission , your profile is stored on AA servers. you need an internet connection to access your account each time u play training missions. It is only single player as long as you go through training. There after as you play online , it is really a multiplayer shooter.
