Dude I've lived in the middle east (Iraq, Kuwait, UAE and KSA - in that order) for almost 15 years and certainly have much more than a brief idea about the place. You don't see the racism and discrimination out on the streets but scratch the surface and you'll see that it runs quite deep. It might not be apparent to you but having lived with Caucasians and Arabs in the past, I can say that with certainty.
You need examples - why is that a Caucasian or Arab with less experience gets the managerial post ahead of a similar qualified Indian or Pakistani bloke? Ever ridden shotgun with an Arab or Caucasian dude on the streets of dxb or adh? Listen to his comments carefully everytime he gets stuck behind a car doing 100 on szr or emirates rd. Head over to a tikka pukka pukka bar or the skybar and feel the general vibe around you.

Sure I'm not saying that everyone hates people from the subcontinent, that'd be foolish obviously but trust me mate it is there.
