Default Re: Radeon HD 4870 X2, HD 4850 X2 Faster and Better Than GeForce GTX 295, 285: AMD

those are obviously fake, compaddict. you should know better than to just follow 1 brand blindly for no good reason. you don't like nvidia, thats ok but theres no reason for you to justify that what you have or like, is better than nvidia. personally if u ask me, the 4870x2 and the whole ATI itself a load of horse sh33t. anyways, take a look at these links.

these should give you a proper & legit perspective of how powerful each of the top-end cards actually are.

as for general speaking point of view, i feel nvidia is better off.
why?
it doesn't have driver issues like ATI catalyst drivers.
it scales well. ATI cards had scaling issues for which they made new generation 4870x2 cards but when you put 2 of 4870x2 together in a quad crossfire thingy, the scaling issues are back.

my personal experience with the 4850 on my 19 inch monitor has been nothing but a huge disappointment.

i have more links if you want, which shows that a 3way SLI of GTX 280 performs equall good & in some benchmarks, better than the HD4870x2 cards.
