Not much actually. But power consuption would increase.
I wish somebody releases something REAL, like a DDR3 version.
Such products actually make sense.

AMD said they added DDR3 support in RV710 and RV730 because they hoped that companies could release DDR3 versions, which, compared to GDDR3 are much cheaper and consume less power but only slightly slower.
