Datawind launches four budget Android 4.0 ICS tablets in its Ubislate range

Datawind has rolled out a new line of budget Android tablets in India, in its Ubislate range. The 7-inch devices run on Google’s Android 4.0.3 ICS operating system, and are all powered by 1GHz Cortex A8 processors, coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The UbiSlate 7Ri, UbiSlate 7R+, UbiSlate 7Ci, UbiSlate 7C+ models will be all available at MRPs ranging from Rs. 2,999 to Rs. 4,499. More details about the budget ICS tablets' specifications are available in the table below.

In India, the devices will offer unlimited web-browsing using Datawind’s web delivery platform for under Rs.100 per month on traditional mobile networks. The new Datawind Ubislate tablets will also come preloaded with apps such as Sakshat portal and other educational websites, Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Cricket, Indian Express and more.
