Toshiba's flexible display bends to zoom

Geeks love sci-fi movies; And the next step has always been to try getting that amazing tech out of the reel world, and into the real one. No doubt, flexible displays are in vogue. Top companies are all working on developing wearable, flexible displays. Earlier this month, Sony showed the rollable display, thin as a hair strand. Now Toshiba, at SID2010 conference, has gone a step further and used the 'bending' of a thin-LCD display as a user-input. The company showcased the display that zoomed-in on Google Earth as the screen was bent outward and zoomed-out as the screen was bent inwards. It's worth noting that IBM also filed a patent application for 'using flexible displays as input device' back in 2006. We'll let the video showcase the rest.
