RCom, BigFlix partnership: Watch a full-length movie at Rs. 30
Reliance Communications (RCom) has entered into partnership with BigFlix to offer premium full length movies to its 3G subscribers at Rs. 30 per movie. The Video On Demand (VOD) service is available with no data charges, which means users only need to pay for the movies not for the data used while streaming. Reliance says its new service is available across the Reliance network.
“We are thrilled to offer the first of its kind full length movie streaming service to our customers powered by BIGFLIX fulfilling the needs and desires of all the movie buffs on our superior Reliance 3G network with incredible affordability. Every movie lover will surely love to avail this service as we are now the home for full length mobile movies and experience seamless video on demand streaming through our superior 3G network,” says Kunal Ramtekke, Senior Vice President and Head – Value Added Services (VAS), RCom.
To activate the new service, Reliance users need to log on to http://vod.rcom.co.in with their mobile phones. Apart from movies. Reliance users can also download video songs, movie clips and short clips.
Some of the popular movies that are available are Dabbang, Bodyguard, Jab We Met, Force, Hate Story, Aarakshan, Bumboo and many more. Reliance says it has been rated as one of the best telecom operators in QOS by TRAI.
Commenting on the association with RCom, Shreyash Sigtia, Business Head, Big Flicks Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are delighted to partner with Reliance 3G. This would enable millions of Reliance 3G users to watch the latest movies on the go without having to worry about data charges. We firmly believe that with this partnership, BIGFLIX & Reliance 3G would bring affordable movies experience to most widely available mobile screen.”
