Fly Mobile launches two dual-SIM touchscreen phones for under Rs. 6,000

It seems that Fly Mobile wants to take the price factor out of the equation of buying a touchscreen phone, as it has launched two new dual-SIM handsets with touch-sensitive screens for less than Rs. 6,000.

The Fly Mobile MC160 is a dual-SIM touchscreen phone that comes with a Yamaha chipset for music aficionados. What’s more, this tri-band bar phone also has motion sensors, 3.2-megapixel camera, FM radio with FM recording capability, talk-time of 4 hours and standby time of 200 hours, internal memory of 87 MB (expandable up to 8GB via microSD), Bluetooth, EDGE and GPRS functionality.
 
While the size of the Fly Mobile MC160’s touchscreen LCD is not known, the company has said it displays 256K colours at 240x320 pixels resolution. Additional features include MP3 ringtones, speaker phone, video recording, self-help feature, A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Protocol), card slot, mobile tracker with remote control capabilities, privacy protection feature, and a phonebook that can store up to 2,000 records.

The main attraction is the crystal clear 2.4-inch screen (256K colours, 240x320 pixels resolution) that displays images vividly. This dual-band phone also boasts of features like FM radio (without earphones), FM recording capability, Bluetooth, GPRS, talk time of 4 hours and a standby time of 240 hours, A2DP, live MSN, motion sensors, 2-megapixel camera, speaker phone, card slot, MP3 ring tones, video recording, expandable memory up to 4 GB and a phone book that can hold 1,000 records.
