With MiKandi; Android boldly goes where every man goes occasionally: Porn
With Apple as the Gatekeeper for all content on the iPhone, it was impossible to sneak in anything naughty without the approval of the conservative pome.
While now appropriately age-tagged application can bring you smut straight to your iPhone, the open nature of the Android allows for something even more creative, like... say... an app market JUST for porn?
Enter the MiKandi market, accessible from MiKandi.com on your Android phone, which allows for just any kind of content, just as long as it doesn't violate the laws, "the sky's the limit". And of course, you need to be of legal age to download applications. To give the user an even better experience of the app they are buying, MiKandi allows you to showcase video and screen-shots of your application instead of just a 325 character description.
The MiKandi market will allow for free and paid application for the Android store. Surely it'll attract developers, sex sells, and a store which sells sex is sure to be a hit before you know it. They support Amazon and PayPal for payments, and much like other stores, have a system in place to upgrade and re-download your previous applications.
All is not well though. Where even such a large corporation such as Apple can have a hard time with app submissions, ensure that they are bug, and malware free, how well would a small company hold, especially with a category of applications which are the biggest target of malware?
In any case, the unspoken law of the internet, "If it exists, there's a porn of it." has once again been proven.
