ProSafe wireless VPN firewall 8 and ProSafe wireless ADSL modem VPN firewall router receive bronze award in the Wireless Category for Robust Feature Set

NETGEAR, announced that NETGEAR ProSafe Wireless VPN Firewalls have received the bronze award in the wireless category of the Information Security magazine and SearchSecurity.com 2008 Readers’ Choice Awards.

The Readers’ Choice Award recognized the ProSafe 802.11g Wireless VPN Firewall 8 with 8-Port 10/100 Mbps Switch (FVG318) and ProSafe Wireless ADSL Modem VPN Firewall Router (DGFV338) as being among the best products in the wireless category, which included wireless IDS/IPS, access control and rogue detection products.
