Good news for the Redmond giant this quarter. Microsoft posted a record revenue of $19.02 billion for the second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2009, a 14 per cent increase from last year's report card. "Exceptional demand for Windows 7", was largely responsible for this growth. Microsoft claims to have sold over 60 million Windows 7 licenses to date, making it the fastest selling operating system in history.
Deserved success too, if you ask us. If you are still on the fence when it comes to upgrading from Windows XP, why not read our extensive seven-part review of Windows 7 to help make up your mind?
