In a recent press release , Electronic Arts has an unnamed shooter from Epic Games listed as a possible release for the next financial year.Following an investor’s conference call, Electronic Arts has revealed its plans for the next financial year, and amidst the mind-numbing numbers and business-speak was a list of releases the publisher has planned for the financial year ending in March 2011.

If we were to speculate as to the identity of this game, it is most likely the new IP which was announced back in August 2008. This game is actually in development at a subsidiary of Epic Games called People Can Fly: a team of developers in Poland, best known for the FPS series, Painkiller. They were acquired by Epic Games in 2007 and their last piece of work as an independent studio was on the PC version of Gears of War.
