The EXR technology gives higher level of image quality to cameras while addressing basic challenges common to most compact cameras like limited dynamic range, high noise, and poor colour reproduction at high ISOs. The Super CCD EXR sensor produces greater detail in images when switched to its high resolution mode, but at the same time, it is capable of offering excellent quality in low light and highlight detail in contrast light when switched to its high sensitivity and wide dynamic range modes respectively.

Mr. Kenichi Tanaka, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India says., “Using the human eye as the basis for the perfect camera sensor, Fujifilm has extended technological boundaries, creating a Super CCD capable of registering grater levels of detail in all images clicked by the camera. We are confident that both professional and amateur photographers will appreciate the superiority of this technology compared to other offerings in this category.”

Although the new technology looks promising but it real effect will only be seen once it hits the market. As for now Fuji film India is working in close cooperation with its existing dealer network in building and promoting FUJIFILM brand in India and bringing innovative and excellent products and services to the Indian customers. FUJFILM India plans to further expand its business in the country by reinforcing technical and marketing support to existing dealers.
